Improvement of friendly relations between China and Serbia
Delegation of the Serbian Progressive Party talked With Mr. Chen Fengksijan about the details of future cooperation between the Serbian Progressive Party and the Communist Party of China, whereby the fact that the political parties must be accountable to the citizens was specifically emphasized, especially in a time of economic crisis and that every responsible government now, in addition to economic development, must demonstrate an understanding of the social status of its citizens.
Tomislav Nikolic, and delegation of the Serbian Progressive Party visited today one of the largest companies in China - Chine Guodian Corporation and with the Corporation's management discussed the potentials of economic cooperation with Serbia and the opportunities it could offer to the investors.

Delegation of the Serbian Progressive Party, led by President Tomislav Nikolic, who is visiting the People's Republic of China, today visited the Chinese Corporation for Roads and Bridges,which inter alia is also engaged in the construction of the bridge Zemun – Borca. CEO of the Corporation, Mr. Zhang Djiancu,spoke with Serbian Progressives.
On that occasion President Nikolic underlined that the aim of visit of delegation of the Serbian Progressive Party to this corporation was creating positive atmosphere for cooperation between Serbian and Chinese construction companies, which would improve the construction industry in Serbia, which unfortunately for some time was not competitive in the global market.
“Construction launches an entire industry and enables the development of other economic sectors and the creation of new jobs, which is an excellent way out from the economic crisis“, Nikolic said and added, „the desire of the Serbian Progressive Party is that the bridge Zemun - Borca be built as soon as possible and of the highest quality because the project is of great importance for Serbian citizens and for encouraging of future cooperation“.
Mr. Djiancu said that the bridge bulit in Belgrade by the corporation, of which he `s CEO, would be the connection between the two peoples and two countries and that therefore for its construction the best engineers would be hired.
He also added that for the future cooperation with Serbia the Chinese Corporation for Roads and Bridges considered support of President Nikolic and the Serbian Progressive Party extremely important.
